The Itama 42 was the last boat fully developed by founder Mario Amati, offering an interior with two spacious en-suited cabins and similar cockpit size to the 46/50 model yet being able to consume under six litres per nautical mile at a 25 knots cruise.

Wide four /five person sun-pad aft, C-shaped dinette to port side, which when not in use is a, opposite helm station to port side. Interior. Saloon C-shaped dinette which can transform to additional twin berth, with L-shaped galley opposite. Forward master cabin with en-suite shower head to port side. Aft cabin with separate deck entrance to port side with two inline berths, and en-suite shower head.
